How thick was the ice?

Ice was about 3 inches maybe a little less. Don't worry though, if you break through just stand up. Where we fished was only 5 ft deep.

No that guy was still there when we got there though. We were fishing from about 2:30 till 4:00. Then my daughter held that fish in the picture and her hands got cold so we packed it in.
