Blackfoot Reservoir?

Hey I was thinking about heading up to Blackfoot reservoir today. I haven't ice fished it before so I just wanted to ask if anyone knows if the ice is safe and if the roads are maintained well enough to get back up in there. Any information would be appreciated thanks.

The ice is safe , the roads are not maintained . Last I heard the only road open is Lincoln Creek . Curt G.

the ice isn't safe everywhere! I found some springs that I didn't know about the other day on my snomachine. Hit slush ice 3 times on a day of 20 below zero! There are springs everywhere, if you go on a snomachine have it full throttle when your on the ice!!

Do you mind saying what area you were on? Or approximate location of the soft areas? Thanks!
