Lake Lowell 1/17/13
#1
First, wanted to thank everyone here for the advice regarding Cascade....even if we didn't make it up there today.

With the 5 degree AM temp and fog this morning, we decided to give Lake Lowell a shot. Many thanks to those here who provided some reports on Lowell as I wouldn't have considered it without them.

We fished from 10 Am to 1 pm on the West end of the lower (Caldwell) dam near the outlet. Fishing was steady enough to keep out interest until lunch beckoned. Caught around 20 perch ranging from a few 6 inch dinks to a couple that taped 12 inches.

This was my wife and my first ice fishing adventure and I think we're hooked.

I went out this morning on the nampa side for 45 mins and had no bits. I was on the bottom and about 15 feet with a jig and worm.
