Went to Renegade from the marina.
Road in to marina snow packed cars were making it in ok. Road to Mud crk plowed.
Took snowmobiles across lake to Renegade side. Bumpy snow, occasional small slush patch, large patches where the slush had frozen in to solid ice. Ice layered about a foot deep. Fishing was good. Not much other than cuts in the slot.
Saw ATVs at Haws and near the tunnel inlet so if you take care you could go from the marina to Renegade. Just follow some sled tracks to get a heads up for the slush.
Weather great and nice to see blue sky instead of inverted smoggy air. It was a DWR ranger free day.....
