Finally got on top of the kokanee. They swam under us three times early in the morning and then went elsewhere for the rest of the day. Wish I could get the hang of hooking the little buggers.
It was a beautiful day and not as crowded as I expected.
Ice is ~10 inches and clear. Several quads on the ice.

Very cool. I think with the Kokanee it's hit and miss. You could go back to the same spot and not see a thing. How deep were they? For me, I've caught all of mine in ten feet or less from the hole. More times than not I'm watching the hook set right at my hole (ice shelter makes that easy to do). I hope to be out there Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday.

Thanks for the update. I'm contemplating heading out tomorrow morning for some time on the hard deck up there. Hopefully I'll find them like you did or better!

No..I live in IF...nice short drive. I'm not sure how the camping site works. I'll look into it for ya...Going to do a little "Flice Fishing" are you? LoL.. Let me know if you guys are headed this way.

Saturday saw them at 24 ft.... this was at 75 ft deep waster....good luck...we only sawthem swim by once at 10am
