Had the day off so went for a short trip this morning. Wind was pretty bad and made fishing my jig a little tough. Fished some stumps with nothing to show. I was glad to be able to find the points I set in my Bird a couple of weeks ago. Still trying to figure that thing out. Saw some bait in about 20' of water on structure and stopped to catch 8 or 9 crappie with only 2 keepers. Seemed to like the electric chicken better than the outlaw special today. Also wound up with 2 bass flipping a black jig. Wind got the best of me and I put her on the trailer. Water temp was in the high 40s. See you on the water....
