Rod-building is a great hobby I use allot of parts from broken rods, Ice fishing rods are easy to make with eyes from a broken casting rod. Mine usually don't look that good but you could make them look as good as you want, the finish is the hard part, that fly fishing place in holiday has components or you could look on line.

looks like you have all the info and help to get started, one thing though, rod building can become very addictive. I build custom rods with fancy wraps all the time. go to the rod building board and take a look at some of my rods I've built. I've built rods for guides and his clients really like them, even the In-fishermen guys like them.
mud hole has every thing you need at a pretty good price, even jann's net craft has good prices. if you need any help with anything you can send me a PM.
