We put the boat in the water around 10:30 and head to a flat where we had been catching some good keeper fish before all of the rain. I started throwing a 1/2oz redeye shad in black&gold color, about five throws later i had a catfish slam my rattle trap, nothing else there so we started fishing some docks up the river with a jig. The first dock i flipped the jig under i pulled out a 2 1/2 lber nothing else there so we head back down river a fished a rock bluff using the jig i flip it by a rock that was out from the wall a had one hammer it as soon as it hit the water 3.07 lber. nothing else wanted to play there, so headed back to a hump that we had caught them before an nothing partner got sick so we headed home. jig color was green pumpkin. hope to do better next time.
