Thanks Matador, that's good news. An improvement to Lincoln Beach will be appreciated by a lot of people. It mentions "boat docks". There are no docks at Lincoln Beach right now, but we could sure use some there. I noticed the other day they had the park closed and they were doing some excavating at the north parking area. I guess they were probably beginning work on the cleaning station.

Yeah, that's what I thought. They'd probably have to make a small harbor in there by moving one of the jetties, then dredging it out to make it deep enough. I can't see it happening though. Without docks, it's easy to bang up a boat trying to keep close enough to shore to load up people. It would help even to have a small dock on the outside of the north jetty, even if it meant having to cruise all the way around the jetty to load people! In reality, there's probably enough room for a narrow dock the way it is, by the ramp, as long as the water is deep enough that close to shore. Since I work for the county myself and know those guys, I can probably find out what they're up to. []
