Went to Mantua on Sunday with a friend for about 6 hours. We ended up landing 12 trout and 1 sunfish for our efforts. I was a slow day with not alot of bites and the wind kept driving us cazy. The snow on top was hard which made it nice to drag the sled out onto with between 10-12 inches of ice in most spots. There is some open waterby the inlet where the canal enters but no soft edges yet.
