Went today just to get out and relax. We had great water color and I'm not sure about water temp. Started out bass fishing and only caught one on a jig. Shad are everywhere no matter where we went. After spending most the day on the hunt for bass we decides to give the crappie a try despite the wind. I've never crappie fished before but I've bass fished since I was big enough to hold a pole. We caught 6 in the only spot we tried with 3 keepers. Had another one on but didn't realize it in time to get a hook in him. Gonna make for some good eating tonight. My grandpa and uncle put in at the sand bar Fri to go for some walleye but had no luck. Talk to a couple guys that said they had been doin pretty good til that day. Said nobody had any luck.
