I plan on going up tomorrow by myself - I just wanted to double check on the ice. Don't want to drive 2 hrs for nothing. Plus I don't want to change my blades if it's a no go.

I am also going this weekend and had the same concerns. I asked around and from what others have told me the ice is still very safe little to no slush. But just to be on the safe side I am going to bring some water proof boots. The berry is a long way away to have wet cold feet.

Thanks guys - I did well @ the ladders a few weeks ago and got my first 5 pounder. Nice cutt on a gold Kastmaster and also hooked up a few times with off white tube jig. May go smaller and slower tomorrow if they are not active and biting.
