I fished the soth fork of the snake in swan valley on Sat. And a little on Sunday and just hammered the trout. Saturday was my best day ever on that river . I fished from 10:00 till 2:00 and landed 34. The biggest fish was a 19 inch cutty and a 19 inch brown. I fished near the bridge, no secret spots. You all drive right by where I was fishing. On Sunday I fished near the dam for 2 hours and landed 12, but they were bigger fish...all browns. The biggest was a 21 inch monster with a nylon stringer stuck through its gills. This fish was fat and healthy, even dragging around 4 feet of blue stringer !! All the fish I caught were released, and many of the ones I landed had hook scars. If you know me, I only use 1 bait...gulp minnows. The fish on Sunday near the dam were all 15 to 18 inchers, fought like crazy, hit hard, a friggin great day on the river !!!
