I'm wanting to fill a cooler with some white perch and I see that Marburg has a white perch problem. thinking maybe win-win for everyone.
It's early in the season though, March 11th to be exact. Is it too early to start for white perch in Marburg? I read somewhere that the whites don't turn on and start to spawn till water temps hit around 50 degrees or so. This was based on the susky flats though. You think if I head down this weekend we'd have any luck?
Also, is Marburg under and consumption advisories or is it safe to eat fish from there? I don't think I've ever eaten a PA fish other than a stocked trout and I've been fishing here all my life...go figure.
