Candi and I took my boat out this afternoon to plant a couple more of the crappie condos that we have made up. Then we took a little time to scout for the tx this coming Saturday.

We found some fish deep and caught several over 11" long. We kept just a few to eat for dinner. Candi wanted a couple for lunch tomorrow and I don't have any crappie at home at all. We hit another place up river and found some smaller crappie that won't help at all for the tournament. Might be slim pickings for us. We will just have to wait and see.

We saw water temp as warm as 50.6, but mostly 49+ in most places. Calm wind today and that is always a pleasure when trying to plant condos and fishing. emoBigSmile We caught our fish on BG lures and as long as there was some chartreuse on it, they bit just fine.

Candi took all pics today, so you will have to wait until she posts to see our pics today. She might have even taken a pic of the area that we dropped the condos. emoBigSmile emoGeezer
