the son and i launched out of soddy today, not much to report tho went down to let the boy catch a few crappie, since i havent fished for one in 20 yrs or so i figured i give it a shot. well did we get our butts kicked by the chick today, after 2 hrs of not as much as a peck on a minnow (yes i said minnow) gave up on that and decided that old dad would show his nine yr old that he could actually catch a bass ( cause he a bass fisherman of course ) at 4 pm still not a peck, tried all the usual ,cranks , jerkbait, jig, the rig, and everything else in the boat. man i'm still taken it hard. whats a guy got to do to catch a fish. i did manage to show him what a bass looks like , couple guys at the ramp had a beast of a bass they were weighin think thet said she went 13.90 hats off to you guys who ever you were.
