I stumbled on a stocking record on the F & G site showing they stocked chinook salmon in Sawyer's Pond by Emmett. Am I missing something here? I think of chinook needing deep, cold water. They were stocked in 2012. Mike

I know in the past they have had to dump some fish in some undesirable locations due to mechanical breakdowns with the trucks. Paddock got some steelhead many years ago when they had aerators problems on the truck and couldn't make it all the way to Boise. I wonder if that was the case?

I believe those were adults, I saw it reported on the news. I never heard of anyone catching one though...
