Get around the north and west dike, the other 60000 walleye are spawning right now.

Just what Mike said. Hit the west dike Saturday morning from 4 a.m. to 6 p.m. not huge numbers for me yet but the fish taken was fat.

Couldn't say. The north marina is still closed due to the furl spill, and I don't know if the south marina has been opened for boat launching yet. So any access other than the inlet would be to the north and west dikes only.

Never! Hippers are cheap and no worries of effects from sun or critters.
