Fished from about 8:00 AM until 7:30...started fishing with the rig and traps in sloughs until after noon with no luck, and then it got better......River Canyon Bass got it started with a 7.80 beauty caught in 24 feet of water....his PB on the Chick. We managed to catch four more pretty good fish in 10 - 20 ft of water. late in the afternoon I hooked into my new PB - a 9.89 hawg.,,,will try to post pictures. Best 5 fish weighed in at 29.63..Water temps varied from 49.9 to 53.5....all fish caught on the rig and released to be caught another day.
