This is a little late but I been busy. 3-19-13 . Mid lake on the chick. Fished in several sloughs with shallow points as the main targets. Threw lipless all day in 3' to 6' of water. Water temp was in places as high as 54 deg. Manage to catch about 20 bass . Finally ran into a 6.50# that was the best of the day so far. It came off shallow rocks with stumps. An hour or so later off a shallow point with wood I hooked my PB. Put it on the scales an was really happy to see it break the 10# mark. Its weight was 10.31#. With everybody an their brother catching 10#+ fish, I really wanted to catch one. The pick isnt that good an dont look as big as the fish did to me but for the first time in a long time I got a little shake in the hands when it was in the bottom of the boat...lol
