Had our club tx at woods today with a really good turnout 20 something boats. Took 21 to win. Big fish was 8.46. Another guy and a 8.18 and another had a 7.5. had a 17lb & 18 lb bag weighed in. We only had two LG mouth. Threw a jig spinnerbait and a crankbait. Never caught a keeper til after lunch and only one fish before that. Missed one or two and had one get off. Water temp was around 50-51. We lost about ten min of the day while fighting about a 20-30lb or bigger carp to get a jerk bait back. It was good fun though. I fought it for a min then give the pole to my gf and let her have all the fun. Sucker pulled the boat around in circles.
