joes valley ice report.

Drove up to joes valley saturday. Ice is rotten and should clear with in a week. It's about 25% ice free now. Stoped along cottenwood creek below the dam, No fishing pole, but observed many active browns in the low water cristal clear holes . saw some pretty nice browns also. Wish I had my gear, but I don't trust my new knee replacement yet enough to walk that rocky bank river .

Thanks for the ice update Lonnie. How long since the knee replacement?

Been about 3 months , but I had a set back and took a fall and sprained my mcl in that knee. Doc says it will be 4 to 6 weeks before I start feeling good again, Then he chastised me for trying to work on it to soon. I learn lessons the hard way.
