Wish I could. I haven't looked at them for a while. All I know is I wish I'd gotten a digital back when I got my cheap one. May have to go look at them again.[Wink]

Remember name brands is always going to be marked up!
walmart has a luggage scale only 10 bucks! Just carefull not to get it wet,my first one went underwater for a sec,and dat wuz it..
You won't believe me but I took a fish to weigh at a certified scale and it was exact! I almost got a state record Oscar, just 3 ounces off.Its a digital 3 digit scale
check it out,I make all my videos with it!

Here's it from a new video, really nice and weighs up to 80lb ,great for luggage![Image: happy.gif]

What do you mean "I sharpened the hook to sometimes weigh fish by the mouth"?

I think its easier on the big fish especially if they shake while weighing them.
If they shake by the gill you may cause some damage, while by the mouth if they shake its less damage, hope dat makes sence, plus its quicker![Wink]

There's some Boga grabbers than include a digital scale, though not the cheapest.
But if I had a buck for everytime you say "hahaha" I could probably pick up a case of 'em!

I'd suggest consider weight range you're hoping to measure. No point weighing a 2 lb trout on a 50 lb scale.

Or conversely - a 20lb Carp on a 5lb scale. Talk about Bottom Out!

Ball-park, I'd say a 20 inch carp is likely 10 lbs, and 30 inch might push 20. We didn't take my 20lber, but I'd say over 30 easy, probably ran about 35. Shoulda measured it! Might have had a new state record!

It's important that it's range should be sufficient for the fish you catch, so something like this:
