Nice try Lavaman. [sly] I thought that was a very creative way to measure and I was gonna do the same until Coyote shot you down. Best I've been able to do so far is a few low 20s that surely could have made 24 to maybe 25 with a good whisker stretch.

The best is yet to come. Good luck to ya.

BLK

[#005000]NOTE: in the rules I do ask that the fish be measure from the end of a tape. Last year - realized it's twice as hard to get a good view on two numbers, then I gotta do math. . . if you got a buddy handy, fine to have someone hold and pinch while the pic is taken. [/#005000]

Naw, if he tried shooting me down i'd just collect a pair of yote ears. I dont think he even likes guns? Guess i need to measure better or i'll get subtracted multiple inches every time ;-)

[#005000]Sure - make like a Pirate - Buck-an-ear.
Not allowed to get guns now, judge sez. But I still got my bow!
Just prove your case, take extra photos, different angles.
Hard to tell on a bitty LCD in the sunshine, or Moonlight!

As they say in the Wendy's commercials, "Now that's more like it" - no YOU'RE hot and spicy! (inside joke)

So - looking at that NOSE, it's sitting right at the 23 mark, hmmmm, and you claim 24, hmmmm.
Ribbing - that tail is clearly a good inch off the end.

24 pts granted

suggestion - watch your shadow planker.
Tigermusky release, bwa, Catfish are TOUGH!

now lets see if I remember my geometry, the sum of the square of the sides is equal to the square of the hypotenuse. Isn't that how the scarecrow put it?

you don't have to edit out your earlier entries, almost wish you wouldn't. No shame in early entries.
