Trolling Yuba with kids

Hey all,

I'm taking my daughter, father, and my young Nephew to Yuba Saturday. We will have the boat and given the number of us and the newbie status of two of them, I'm thinking Trolling may be the best option.

I've had good success in the fall trolling perchy lures -- but most the reports to date are casting into very shallow waters.

Has anyone had luck trolling yet?

I've seen a few out trolling and catching fish. Many of us are casting shallow but those pike are in all areas of the water column, I caught a decent one slow rolling a swimbait in 25 feet of water. I think you'll pick up quite a few in keeping it in that 15- 20 foot range.

Me and a buddy were out on Saturday and did a little trolling in the morning. My buddy caught one and had several other bites trolling a Lucky Craft Live Pointer.
