I was over in the cove and it was flat out nasty over there. I got one bite on a sturgeon rod. Ron

No, I saw a couple jump and I saw several on the fish finder. None of them were on the bottom where I needed them. Ron

Lucky guys, I spent the day on Milner in the white caps, thinking of a sugar cube. Bass at Milner are healthy again. Lots going on at CJ next week, High School kids and Vets bass fishing out of the Air Force Ramp.

We hit Jack's Creek this morning (not early - got there around nine). Fished a couple hours for nary a bite. Went to Cottonwood after - just late enough that the bite was over, but that looks like a great spot for kids. Not sure why I'd never tried that before....

I was on CJ 5/4... it was the lowest catching I've ever had on that res. I went everywhere trying to find some crappie or perch. We threw a bunch of different things out there, even stopped and watched the boats achored up together to see if anyone was reeling anything in. Not much action... Mostly people staring at each other with their poles in their hands... [Smile]
Which is still relaxing, but doesn't taste very good.
Maybe 9:30 was too late.
