Has anyone fish this? I am thinking about giving it a try. At least seeing what goes on. To enter a fish it has to be alive back to the park I think. That might be a trick. Ron

Just looked that up, looks like it would be fun.
Never been, but someday I'll get over there. [signature]

5 dollar entry per day and all the rest of the stuff going on it could be fun. 500 dollars for the biggest fish of the tournament. The way I understand it they release the fish back into the river. Ron

I have fished a few cat tourneys. I just took a cooler and put in a minnow bucket aerator in it. It will keep the cats alive. We would have hundreds of cats to release at the end of the tourney. I only recall one death.

Ron, my inlaws live in huntington, I have fished this a couple of times in the past. it usually gets won by some local guys who always come in with huge flatheads. just fyi. Nice restaraunt in town that a friend of my wife owns.

I've fished it a couple times and its a great tournament for those that aren't into the hype. You cant go wrong and the atmosphere is great. If you can go up let me know.
