Ran over to Hyrum today looking for a tagged fish. No luck with a tag, but did land 10 bows with 13.5 the biggest of the day. Nice morning on the pond. Not fast, but fun fighters. Later J

Yes that would be a good bow, I'd probably put a picture in if it was lbs. sorry it was inches. But it was a fat football of a fish and its still swimming and growing bigger. Later J

Nice day to try it. Was there a crowd today? Guess I'll try something different next trip, not catching enough to be real exciting lately. But May is usually my favorite month. Later J

Heading there Monday with my buddy Jason, and a tackle box full of rapalas and flat-fish. There's a big one with our name on it.
Supposed to hit 90 degrees or very close to it...good time to be out on a boat.

I think I need to switch from fly fishing and start trolling some sinners. It sounds more fun! [laugh] [laugh]
I think my favorite would be trolling sinners for some of the strippers at Lake Powell!
No offense meant. I just love accidental typos! [:p]

I understand on the phone thing. I was just kidding around. Odd visual images strike me as funny.
Nice report though. Thanks for posting it.

Hey thanks for the chuckle on the typo. One question, just wondering how I'm doing on numbers compared to others, what range is a lot? 5,10, 20, 30, 40, 100. I know it shouldn't be a comparison thing, but if I'm way off the pace I want to try changing some thing's up so I can do better. So far this year it seems really slow compared with last year, but I had some excellent days last year and I'm wondering if I'm just spoiled now and expect too much or if the fish preference of lures has changed and I need to try something different. PM the answer if ya don't mind. Thanks J

I just love hitting the lake at first light this time of year. It is so pretty and nice to be there. Pay back for all the blizzards that we sat through last winter. Sorry the catching wasn't so good, but I know how that goes. Glad ya had a great day out anyway. Later J

Well between 2 poles we caught around 20 in 4-5 hours. that is alot to me. And i love that pond too. I also think it has potential for a couple big fish!

There was two of us as well so doubled is a pretty good day for you guys. Last year we were around that 20 fish mark per trip and I considered that a good day myself. That's a lot of fish in a half day. Keeps the action pretty steady. At 10 fish it was interesting, but slow at times. Maybe I better try switching up my lure mix again. Thanks for the info. J

Sounds like ya had fun even if the catching wasn't the best. Maybe next time will be a catch up trip. Good luck. Later J
