Deadwood access yet?

Deadwood Summit still shows 40" of white on the ground so still may be a bit early to attempt. Even in a light snow pack year such as this. But...has anyone managed to make it in yet?

I have not heard of any one trying to get into their yet. I would think the middle of June unless we get more of that real hot weather.At Deadwood summit the road is 6984 feet elevation, Deer creek out of Bear valley is 6542 feet and Scott mountain is 7540. Water leval looks good 89%.

Last year you could get in by early June coming from Banner and the warm lake route was plowed opened for fourth of July. It isn't the summit that is the issue it is the avalanche chute that will be full of snow. I was at warm lake Wednesday and the hills were looking pretty bare up high. Someone needs to attempt to get in from Stanley.
