Some of the crappie are still spawning. Some are done and may have moved back to deeper water. I've found that fishing the harbors can produce nice crappie during this time of year. If they aren't shallow then check out around the docks in deeper water. Your average Utah Lake crappie is 9-10 inches. There are bigger ones but you have to wade through a lot of the smaller ones. I like using 1/32 ounce jigs personally. A lot of time I will rig them under a slip bobber or I will rig 2 jigs in tandem. Good colors are red/chartreuse, black/chartreuse, white, and hot pink. I like using small tube jigs or southern pro stingers. Maribou is a great option as well. Sometimes the easiest thing to do is leave the plastics off the jigs and put a crawler on there. You never know what you'll catch when you do that.
