I hit Henry's Monday afternoon. We arrived at the state park paid our $5 to park and went over to see that the wind was so bad we could not get on the lake and it was too muddy anyway. We left and headed to the county boat dock and found the wind not as bad but some rain storms were lurking. We waited out the storms and put our pontoons on the water. The weather turned into a beautiful evening it got breezy occassionaly, but was almost perfect. Oh yes and the fishing... we were using fly rods and between the two of us we caught 12 to 15 fish the biggest being 22 inches. It was not fast and furious but we were catching them consistantly enough to keep it exciting. All in all a great night...as a bonus we saw a bull moose, two bull elk, and 5 or 6 deer all before we hit the highway after leaving the lake. Can't wait to go back.
