Willard after dark 6/8/13
#1
After my mantua trip loaded up the boat to hit willard for a zero dark thirty carp shoot with my brother and joeyfish89. Launched to near glass around 2145. We had all four led lamps running and not a carp in sight. Few hundred yards north of the marina the water began to erupt around the boat. We watched as wiper after wiper darted to the surface to gulp up all the bugs attracted by the lights. Seemed like there was hundreds of them darting this way and that splashing us a few even tried to hitch a ride. With all the action my brother and i began to throw everything we had at them but they enjoyed the bugs more than the ratltraps jigs and bouncers. So we packed it in and headed to a little channel, shot a few carp and left around 0130. my buddy ended up placing 5th. All in all it was a heck of a good time and i cant wait to do it again. Stay safe and until next time
