Like Bio I was completely out of crappie in the freezer. 
I started off fishing for bass and boated about ten or so in a couple hours. Not bad but size was not all that great. Four keepers and six shorts. I did loose one nice one that appeared to be over four after it took my crank, came straight up, jumped about three foot high and threw my crank back at me. emoAngry The four keepers were not all that heavy, just nice bass between 2.25 to 2.75 lbs. I could not get them to take a shakey. I caught them either on a big worm t-rigged or a crank. Kept thinking about DK and Bio getting some eating crappie and after a couple hours and the heat decided to put a few in my well and go home. I hit main lake structure along the river and shot docks. It was hard to shoot the dock right since the water was so high and many boats in the stalls were in the water even thou they were on the lifts. emoScratch I was using the pearl white with pepper pattern on a crappie assassin. Most came on a deeper count and I missed as many as I caught not feeling the hit because the current and depth was playing heck on me. Still managed around 30 or more with 12 keepers for the freezer. emoHungry With just me and the better half that was three messes. emoThumbsup The heat was getting to me and you could sure feel that summer is upon us.
