Candi and I got out pretty early this AM in order to beat the heat and search for crappie. It was a tough day for us. We only had 1 limit of keepers and about twice as many throwbacks. We fished with Bobby Garland plastics on 1/16 oz jigs mostly. Outlaw Special, Cajun Cricket, Albino Shad, Electric Chicken and Patriot with a tail light.<br /><br />We fished docks and vertical structure. The fish were rubbing the bottom of the lake today. Every fish that we caught was on bottom and just off bottom. Very slow, subtle bite today. Hope it is better tomorrow. I am taking Biofisher and he needs some fish to eat.<br /><br />Thanks for going fishing with me today, Candi and for lunch. That was nice. Now, I owe you. Have fun tomorrow in your little thing with your friends. <br /><br />Not much of a report, but not much of a fishing day either. emoBig
