Derek and I are still catching a lot of fish but they lack in size. emoScratch Today we caught around 30 bass with over half being keepers but we struggled to get anything over four pounds. I did manage one beautiful smallie that went 4.10 but that was our only one over the four mark. We had one other a couple ozes under four at 3/11 and one more at 3/4. Our weight we weighed in was 10.99 lbs. with our best three. Not sure where that was but it was in the upper weights. Pratt and Crouch kicked everyone's butt with three really nice ones that went a little over 19 lbs. emoEek We culled one at 3/1 and a couple at 2/11, so our best five would have been about 16 and a half pounds. One thing about it we are consistent.

We caught them on cranks, big worms and shakeys. Had a limit in the well in less then the first hour at nine pounds but from there is was a grind to up grade. An oz here and an oz there. emoRolleyes Had a great time and the weather was not all that bad with the slight breeze we had most of the day. The boat traffic got really bad and beat us to death coming back but other then that it was a good day. Big thanks to the Chattanooga Bass Assassins for putting it on. I heard they raised over $3,000 for the Greer boy to go to help his family with their expenses. emoThumbsup

See ya'll on the water. emoAngler Jmax
