We took the bass boat out on it's first trip of the year and it ran great for an 18 year old, thank goodness!!
Wife caught the first bass, a 15". I caught the second, a 16 1/2". Then wife catches a 17". After going back and forth, I finally beat her big fish with a 17 3/4". We only fished about 3 hours and probably caught 20 bass with a good 16 1/2" average. It was a fun morning and Lowell is still producing some nice bass.
Pics of wife's 17" and my 17/3/4"

Very nice. I need to get over there, we have caught some fish (bass, bluegill, and perch if I remember correctly) from the bank, but I need to figure out some better places or bait or something.
Always enjoy the reports from Lowell though, keep up the good work.

Nice fish Bob, I hope you get the opportunity to get out on the boat more often.

Speaking of bluegills, one of the bass that my wife caught, puked up 2 bluegill about 3 inches each and he still wanted more. They are definitely hungry.

Some healthy looking bass there, looks like forage is good. Glad to see someone still having a good day out there!
