Was down at willow for the first time in a while as ive been concentrating my efforts at laughlin and bullhead...trolled and cast ac original 12" and ms slammer 12" from midnight till 5am and nothing...went back to the marina to call it a day and then decided to go back out and give it another hour first cast with a slide swimmer and bang a 5ish pounder which was released next cast two much larger followers...3rd cast bang again and weighing in at a skinny but long 16.3 lbs gave a hell of a fight...

[cool]Way to hang in there and give it one last shot. Last casts of the day can yield a nice payoff.

I think large glide swimbaits are the way forward down there as i think those striper have seen just about everything..just make sure you have good hooks im using owner st56 now after i had a huge huge striper break and straighten a st36 . Also a little list of baits as an alternative to ac plugs would be
