The State Park says Utah Lake is 72 (I assume in the sheltered marina). Anyone have a recent reading in the main lake?
Thanks,

Water temp at Bird Island today was an even 70 degrees. Ambient temp was comfy early on but unbearable after about 10ish.

Great info. With these 100 degree temps, we may see 75 F. before too long.

[#0000FF]Yeah, the 70 degrees felt good while tubing without waders. But I usually get out of the water when it starts boiling. I don't look good in red...or blue either.

[#0000FF]Action for both largemouths and white bass is slow.
The largies have finished spawning and are now harder to find...and catch. Summer lures and techniques will put a few on your line but you have to search hard and work for them. This has been a "down" year for white bass. They took a hit in the low water last year. Stunted and skinny. Looking like it will be even worse this year. Only a select few areas around the lake where they have been able to make a good living and stay fairly healthy. [/#0000FF] [signature] |
