i got out early this morning and was on he water by 7am. I started out fishing up in the creek with minnows for crappie. I found a school of them on a downed tree but of the 9 I caught they were all just short of ten inches. I also caught a small largemouth there. later I went up to the cb robinson bridge and started drifting for catfish, seems like I caught one on every drift. I just drifted from the bridge to the green buoy. I got 8 cats total biggest being just over 12 pounds. I left around 11:30 as it was getting hot. catfish were still biting. I had to drop the new boat off at island cove for some fine tuning on a few minor problems. hope I get it back soon. all fish were released. I have some pics but not very good at taking pics alone.
