Thanks to all for the tips on lead core line. looks like I have some learning and reading to do.
I do have an old Fenwick that my Father left me that is a pole for a level wind, its pretty big though looks like a saltwater rig to me, but I'm not sure
. It is a Fenwick 522 IGFA 20lb class with a roller tip. Its a really neat pole its one piece other than that the handle unscrews taking off maybe 2 feet for transport.
Sure looks big to me but maybe not with lead core?
If its too big, I will find a smaller one to buy, and save the old Fenwick
for another day.
Anyway thanks and if have a sec chime in on the pole
