Heading to Flathead

Heading to Flathead Lake next week for some macs and perch. Anyone been there lately? Could use some tips.

Wow, your going to Flathead lake in Montana after you come back from the Gorge? I don't think many Utah members fish that lake, did you try making a post on the Idaho and Wyoming boards? I see you made a post on the Mo board.

Yes, I put a blog on the Montana Site and no response yet. They don't seem to have many participants up there. But, I think catching Lakers there will be pretty much the same as catching them here.

Yes, I agree. A few years back when I took a trip up there, I heard they had a bounty on the macks there, paying anglers for each mack they caught. I don't know if they still do the bounty but it might be worth asking about when you get up there. That is one huge lake.
