Riverton Pond White bass?
#1
does anyone know how many whitebass we can keep at riverton pond? I know the limit is 2 fish but does it apply to fish that may have been dumped in there? There are a ton of crawdads in there as well.

From the UDWR pamphlet on Community Fisheries:
Quote:City: Riverton
Size: 7.6 acres
Likely catch: Rainbow trout, channel catfish and bluegill Possible catch: Largemouth bass, yellow perch, bluegill and white bass

Since they know the White Bass are in there, and they don't exempt them from the regulations that allow 2 fish of any species, I'd say you can keep 2 fish. If they are both White Bass, then you've got your limit.

Crawdads are a different story.

Thanks for the info, I rarely fish the ponds but like to get a couple whitebass for bait for channel cats.
