Do it yourself bow hunt Alaska

I plan to bow hunt in Tok Region Alaska this early Sept 8-14 2013. Does anyone have any feedback on areas or how to connect with a local native who would be interested in accompanying me as a hunting bussy.

That would be a cool hunt. I unfortunately don't have any intel on what you're asking, but hopefully someone will chime in soon with more information. I'll be honest with you though, I know if I paid the cash to go all the way to Alaska, i'd get a guided trip to insure success. I don't know how close you are to Alaska, or what your budget is, but I think it would be worth it. By the time you get your scouting in, and with the local dangers in that area, it would pay off in the long run. Just my 2 cents.
