[cool] Im having lotsa fun catching bass. Caught 1 striper on top. Largemouth are schooling too. This is my best so far. Caught on crankbait. 4LB. 22"

It's a damn shame, I won't be fishing the US Open this year. And it's in September, too. What a great time to be fishing Mead.

I checked out your sand jigs site - those look really cool! I like the idea a lot.

I spent some time experimenting with my drop shot weights, coating them in sand and a clear coat. I thought they would help camouflage my weights, but bass seemed to attack my weight more often when it was coated than they did with a plain weight.

I love the idea of it on a football jig, scraping along the bottom like a crayfish. I want some to test out on Mead.
