So while i was working the outher day i came across 50-the 60 abandoned magazines and alot were 60's-70syou field & stream magazines, its been so fun to go threw them and just see all the old fishing days and lures and the better than average now days fish, so does anyone know where i want can get something like this appraised? Their is some old stuff like fishing world 71,fishing annual 69,out door life 67, and on and on. Oh yeah and the koke fishing at the gorge this year is RED hot!

Usually when people come across abandoned magazines it ends up being someone's discovered porn stash so congrats on the nice find!

Actually what really gets me is when I look at the ads in those for the real estate. Sunny Florida, 30 acres for 5k or something like that. Also the ads for clothing with modern fabrics like nylon. It really gets good when you find some from the 50's and early 60's and see the ads for rifles and handguns. The handgun ads disappeared in the early 60's and rifles in the late 60's. Send 5.99 to wherever and get your .38 in 3 weeks. (Yes people, the problem is the guns themselves.)
They are fun and pretty cool but not worth lots. Not sure where to get them appraised but you can get a general idea for sure on ebay. I will pick up a lot every few years or so.

Yeah alot of them have gun ads and what really suprized me was the cigarette ads i forgot they used to be able to advertise
I cant wait to get the mad magazine appraised tomorrow! I was hoping a few people on the site would be interested in some of the old fishomg magazines im not looking to get rich maybe $5 a piece,..
