Anyone know where the catfish on Cutler are hanging out? not asking for specifics, just general ideas. Whats working, I havent had much luck out there recently?

I've found that most of the ones I've been catching come out of the water, got about ten last night all between 1-5 pounds all small.

Are you fishing the river or the sloughs? I think they have moved from the sloughs into the river channel. I haven't tried to prove my theory but most years the river fishing picks up in August. Look for deep cooler water and let me know how it goes. Later J

No Shit? I have been fishing both but mostly I have been going out near benson marina both in a boat and from the dock. I havent hooked into anything decent since the first part of july. [signature]

I found this one when fishing the Bear River - at the launch by the church. It was around this time of year.
