I went to Pineview with a couple friends to fish for muskie and make another video and we had a pretty interesting day. We caught some pretty decent muskie and a couple of good bass. While trying to unhook one of the muskie and get the crank bait out of the net my friend got a hook almost all the way through his finger. He ended up pushing the hook the rest of the way through so he could smash the barb down and pull it back out, I've seen pictures but never seen it done in person before, pretty nasty. Here is the video.

It was a pretty good day! Despite Walker hooking his finger and me finding out the trolling motor batteries on my new boat only lasted about 30 minutes, it was still pretty fun!

Yeah seriously haha, they are worth every penny though! I love those things. I have caught more fish on them this year then just about anything else.

Nice video, especially with the hook in the finger part! Not sure what type of video camera you are using but if you have a gopro, putting on a head strap or chest strap may help you keep your hands free, or at least you wont have to use a big tripod.

Thanks! Only a couple of the shots in the video were filmed with a go pro. But yes I do need to get a head strap, that would help a lot. The rest of the footage was filmed with a canon t4i dslr so the only way to really do it was to have it on a tripod. The tripod you see in some of the shots was my friends because he was filming for his channel too haha. It was a little overcrowded in there with three guys and all of our camera gear.
