Another Tube morning on Deer Creek
#1
I'm still having more fun that should be legal fishing topwater for bass while slow trolling the banks.... with a wormed wedding ring dragging behind just for kicks.

The count today was 20+ SMB (almost all in the 10-11" range) and three Rainbow trout 14-15".

All the SMB's were on Pop-R's. The three trout came in on the wormed wedding ring.

I launched at first light (around 6:15) and was off the water before 9AM.

I couldn't agree with you more. Your early posts are the reason I've been up there 3 times a week for the last month. I'm not sure wether to thank you or curse you. I'm having a ball but my yard and house are being neglected. I have been hitting it from the shoreline and having similar success. Anywhere from 10-20 per trip all on pop-Rs. I get up there at or just before 6am. The fishing is great until 8. There isn't much pressure either. Nice report.
