Cast off in the new boat this morning for a scouting trip. When you've not been in 2 months I guess that's what you would call it. Started fishing Delta structure with BG Baby Shad in the Blue grass and Electric chicken ticket. No one at home. Moved to a deep water stump area(community hole) switching to Outlaw and DS Rainbow. Fish were there but no takers. Were pulling a lot of water and with wind blowing downstream it was a chore to get it in the strike zone. Switched to 1/16 and 1/8 Oz heads and moved to some drops we had made 3 mo ago. Blue Ice and Monkey Milk was what they wanted. Boated 20 shorts and 1 keeper who was released before the rains came. No pix but a good scouting trip.
