Back from Canada
#1
Hi guys, I just got back from an epic 4,000 mile plus trip across Canada. I did a week in Saskatchewan at Silence of the North Lodge with a good friend. We caught tons of pike and walleye. Then I headed across Manitoba to Ontario to meet my Uncle. All went well except for a $368 dollar speeding ticket. [pirate][shocked] I was only going 12 miles an hour over. Wow they sent the message.

I then paddled a canoe into Quetico Provincial Park for 12 days. It was epic. Big pike, smallmouth bass, and walleye and lake trout. I don't have a video done yet, but here is a pic of a nice pike. I caught it bass fishing with no steel leader. I can't tell you how many bass rigs were broken off by toothy pike.

[quote windriver]. All went well except for a $368 dollar speeding ticket. [pirate][shocked] [/quote] If that is our dollars it's really only about $300 or so. If Canadian then $400 or so. [frown]
What a great trip. I think seeing them pike come out of the weeds to hit is as exciting as seeing a trout hit your fly. Very nice.

Gotta love those pike! I need to get my video card fixed before your video come out I really messed my monitor or video card up! Canoeing is so much fun! Years ago spent 2 weeks up in the boundary waters and beyond.
